Book Group
This group meets at 7:30 p.m. the third Thursday of most months in the Lounge. Group members choose books in April for the following year. They include at least one classic and some nonfiction, with a focus on multicultural writings. Leadership of meetings is rotated among the members. The schedule for 2007-2008 is listed below. Spiritual Formation
Northminster’s interim pastor began this group a couple of years ago and it continues to grow. Members meet every other Sunday in the Lounge at 7:00 p.m. to deepen their spiritual connections. Different avenues have been explored over time and include journals, readings, prayer, and thoughtful discussion. At present, leadership is rotated among members.
Women’s Bible Study
Women are invited to be part of the Bible Study that meets on the first Monday of each month in the Lounge. Study is based on the Horizons guide available through the church for $6.00. Participants gather at noon to eat lunch together and begin their discussion at 12:30. More information is at the Northminster Women tab.
Men’s Lunch
Lunch at Little Daddy's on Woodward is a chance for Northminster’s men, mostly retired, to get together for conversation during the week. They meet on the third Tuesday of most months. Get more details by contacting the church office.
